Terry Tremaine

The following is an example of a sec. 13 human rights complaint and is provided for educational purposes as an example of how to make a complaint regarding hate on the Internet - cyberhate. The result of the complaint can be found at the Canadian Human Rights Commission website. Some results are posted on www.stopracism.ca as examples of the types of evidence and argument that Tribunals find relevant.

Allegation:

Terry Tremaine has discriminated against persons or groups of persons on the basis of race, colour, national or ethnic origin, and religion by repeatedly communicating messages through an Internet website that would likely expose blacks, Asians, Aboriginals, and other non-whites, and Jews to hatred and/or contempt contrary to section 13(1) of the Canadian Human Rights Act (CHRA) .

Terry Tremaine has also posted material that is intended to threaten or intimidate as a result of my having filed a human rights complaint against Glenn Bahr, Peter Kouba, and the hate group Western Canada For Us. I believe that this material violates ss. 14.1 and 59 of the CHRA .

Date of alleged conduct: February 2004 and ongoing.

Particulars:

Terry Tremaine has posted extensive discriminatory material on Stormfront, a U.S. website forum at stormfront using the pseudonym mathdoktor99 . In his profile, mathdoktor99 indicates that he is from Saskatoon, Canada and that his email address is mathdoktor@hotmail.com . An internet search for that email address affiliates it with Terry Tremaine. A further search on the name Terry Tremaine provides a link to his resume at: www.phpbuilder.com/people/viewprofile.php?user_id=127766 .

I visited the Stormfront forum on more than one occasion in September 2004. The avatar, or symbol used on Tremaine's Stormfront postings was originally a swastika, but was later changed to a picture of Hitler. Although a broad range of discriminatory materials have been included with the evidence accompanying this complaint, representative samples are listed below.

On 14 February 2004, Terry Tremaine wrote:

"The Jew cannot help being a Jew any more than a rat can help

being a rat. The Jews have been a parasitic race for 5000 years

and will remain so. No healthy host population can tolerate a

parasite feeding on it without eventually rejecting it. Jewish

media propoganda [sic] attempt to undermine aryan [sic]

resistance to the parasitic practises of the Jew but it will not

succeed. Europeans have demonstrated a healthy resistance in

the past and will continue to do so. No conferences on 'anti-

semitism' will help the Jew avoid his long-overdue fate."

Referring to Jews, on 23 March 2004 Terry Tremaine wrote:

"The hatred for that race of parasitic vermin is growing everywhere."

Describing what type of society would exist following the establishment of a racist state, Terry Tremaine stated on 5 July 2004:

"Non-white immigration would be banned. Non-whites living within

our borders would be encouraged to leave or submit to voluntary

sterilization. Under such a plan our nation would be 100% White within

one generation. It could be accomplished without significant bloodshed

if non-whites were willing to co-operate in the endeavour... In no case

would a Jew be allowed to remain on our territory..."

On 12 September 2004, the following material was posted by Terry Tremaine:

"The more a person researches the events surrounding WWII

(before, during, and after) the more one is led to the conclusion

that the real holocaust was against the German people and

instigated by the Jews. The holohoax story attempts to invert

that and portray the juden as victims of the 'evil Nazis'."

In a posting to Stormfront dated 20 September 2004, Terry Tremaine states:

"Soviet communism was for the most part Jewish. Of the several

hundred original commissars, only five or six were ethnic Russians,

one was an American Black and the rest were Jews. The Red Terror

was entirely Jewish. ... NS [National Socialist] policy toward Jews

was quite restrained. Hitler was a lot nicer to the Jews than they

deserved."

Alleged violation of ss. 14.1 and 59 of the Act

On 19 September 2004 Terry Tremaine posted material in a thread on Stormfront entitled "Warman files complaint against WCFU". Tremaine quotes a previous poster who says "I was under the impression that WCFU went down, and now Warmen [sic] is up to his usual witchhunting [sic] activities??" Terry Tremaine then responds:

"It is not enough that the site was shut down. They want to go after

those who created it in the first place. How very Jewish! They

never forget and never forgive. Well, their time will come. As

someone (I cannot remember who) once said, when the end of

the Jews finally comes they will wish they had the SS there to

protect them."

Complaint:
